40 Weeks & 1 Day Pregnant – Walking, Walking, Walking…

Posted on | June 23, 2008 | No Comments

I am 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I’ve read that one of the ways to jump start labor is to walk as much as possible. The combination of the swaying hips and gravity help the baby get into the right position. I’ve also found that one way to swell up like a balloon when you are pregnant is to walk around in 100 degree heat. So with walks around the neighbor out of the question we have been coming up with creative ways to keep moving. Yesterday we went to the Rueben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park. We walked around the (air conditioned) museums and half way through the day we caught 2 short IMAX films.
