Lily you are officially one month old. This month you are learning how to smile. Daddy lifts you in the air above his head and makes noises at you. When he does this you make a funny face that looks like surprise. When you cry you get a sad face which is heart breaking and cute at the same time. I rock you to sleep at night with a special song that only you and I know. Berkeley likes to lick the back of your head and make your hair stand up straight. We call it “The Berkeley”. You get the hiccups. It seems like your vision is getting better. You are able to follow people around the room as they walk. Daddy likes to read to you and you look at the pictures in the books. Your belly button looks like a cinnamon roll. Last night you kept me up until 4am but normally you are pretty good at sleeping during the night. This month was full of firsts. First bath, BBQ, bed time story, car ride, smiles…
