Last week I spilt coffee in my car three times. I do not mean the kind of spill where a few drops makes a sticky mess out of your center console; I mean the kind where the entire contents of the cup flies across the interior of your car, your outfit, your purse, and anything in between. Due to these unfortunate events I have made four new rules for myself:

1. Your purse is not a storage unit.
2. Your car is not a storage unit.
3. Not having any coffee in the morning will not kill you, nor is it a healthy substitute for breakfast. Have a bowl of cereal.
4. It’s a proven fact, if you go to bed at midnight Lily will wake you up at 4am but if you go to bed at 8pm Lily will sleep as long as you’d like. Let’s compromise Lily, go to bed at 10pm, and wake up refreshed.
