21 September 2008 One Comment

McCain

  • In 2005, McCain voted NO to allocate $100 million to expand access to preventive health care services that reduce the numbers of unintended and teen pregnancies and reduce the number of abortions.
  • McCain voted NO on legislation that would help reduce the number of teen pregnancies by providing funding for programs to teach comprehensive, medically accurate sexuality education and other programs to prevent unintended teen pregnancies.
  • In 1990, McCain voted NO on legislation to extend the Title X federal family planning program, which provides low-income and uninsured women and families with health care services ranging from breast and cervical cancer screening to birth control.

Obama

Barack Obama is an original co-sponsor of legislation to expand access to contraception, health information and preventive services to help reduce unintended pregnancies. Introduced in January 2007, the Prevention First Act will increase funding for family planning and comprehensive sex education. The Act will also end insurance discrimination against contraception, improve awareness about emergency contraception, and provide compassionate assistance to rape victims.

hi amanda.sorry about my blunder with your name before (abby) my apologies..

im now convinced that my mother in law will be voting for the right person. She is not voting for McCain due to Palin. Both McCain and Palin are a match made in heaven. Both dont agree or support sex education of something of that kind. But you know what the ironic thing is?Palin who is an advocate for abstinence has a 17 yr old daughter who is pregnant..Take note,17!!!!!!!! Thats like a big slap in the face. The only consolation about Palin and McCain is they are anti abortion, both are pro life.

I hope Obama wins.Maybe we need a big change this time. All the presidents in American have been white, lets give Obama an African American a chance.I know a lot of people are still racist but they are not saying.Racism, black or white were all the same.

    p.s
im not yet a voter but i do have a voice,if I would be eligible to vote i would. I once saw a campaign add in my coutnry saying this:
“YOU DONT HAVE A RIGHT TO COMPLAIN IF YOU DONT VOTE!”
