I came across a story on CNN today. It is about a girl named Eva who recently died at the age of 25 from cystic fibrosis. She blogged all the way up to her last days. I’ve spent the last hour reading her blog and balling my eyes out. It is so touching and surreal to see everything there in writing and all of the support she had along the way. She was only 25 – one year older than me…
Where will I be in one year?
What have I contributed …

Last week, I moved my online store onto this blog. I thought it would be fabulous idea because I get so much traffic here, and usually it is my target audience (expecting or new parents). But once it was up I felt like I could no longer post the wonderful, personal stories and pictures that I was before. So, instead you can shop the store at BabyBumpShops.com.

I was asked to review a new book, called Baby Lists. The book was written by Elaine Farber, a newborn consultant who has three children of her own. (First of all, how do you become a newborn consultant, and where do I sign up?)
Stan and I had a 3 ring binder with all of our baby lists in it: what to buy, birth plan, baby shower guests, etc. Most of which we had gathered from parenting and pregnancy books. On the other hand, this book lays it all out for …

Tokoni, the Tongan word for help, is a social network which allows users to share their stories. It was started by the president of Skype and a few former eBay executives.
My favorite feature is the bubble browser (under explore connections in the left column). It allows you to see how different stories are connected. When you create a story you can connect it to other stories and they link together creating a web effect. You can read stories in 19 different categories include family, relationships, and religion.
They have also partnered …

A documentary recently aired on BBC about a trend where adult women care for and collect dolls which are extremely lifelike. Jamie Eaton can create the dolls so that their stomachs rise and fall as if they were breathing or they contain magnetic parts in the mouth so that they can use a special pacifier. Some women collect the dolls while others have them made to resemble their own children or grandchildren. The next show time is October 5th at 8:00pm Eastern on BBC America.
Below are pictures of the dolls.
