Hehe how cute is this! While I personally wouldnt broadcast my pregnancy to the social world, I think these are super cute ways to let the world know your expecting. My favorites are 15, 21, and 41

~Dressed Up…Went Out…Felt Up…Put Out…Knocked Up~
I plan to announce that I’m expecting by simply writing “I’m Pregnant” in several different languages and waiting to see who translates it first. For example Je suis enciente / Ich bin schwanger / Sono incinta French / German / Italian
I used this one:
“Looks like we’re adding another 2 feet to our house…”
I chose to do mine by saying ‘is extending her house by 2 feet’ It confused a lot of people at first. I was even asked if I had planning permission haha.
I found out I was pregnant 3 days before Christmas. In our house we have a tradition where we each get to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve but someone else gets to decide which one. I wrapped up the pregnancy test and gave it to my husband. (later he told me he thought it was a thermometer for the first 30 seconds) Then we wrapped up Grandparent Books and gave them to our parents the next day.
I’m planning on saying “…killed the rabbit.” and see who figures it out first. It’s a reference to the old-fashioned “rabbit test” where you’re pregnant if the rabbit dies after your urine is injected. Pretty disgusting, but it’s uncommon enough that it may take a bit for people to figure it out.
Emily, that’s a great idea. If I’m pregnant after I tell my family and boyfriend’s family and everyone else I don’t want to find out my reading my status I think I will do that. It’ll be interesting to see how many people translate it. also love …is “full of life” that’s just secretive enough that it’s not blurting and riddle enough to make it fun
